Joey Morales

Efficiency and expediency. They are two of the hallmarks of manufacturing, and companies are always trying to find ways to improve both of them.

Fortunately for Western Window Systems, the company has Joey Morales on its side, and Joey, a framing department manager, really knows how to step it up when it comes to getting product out the door.

Take, for instance, Joey’s innovative work in moving door frames down the line.

“Joey worked with another employee to improve the flow in his department,” says production manager Chris Allgood. “Together, they brought the shipping time down from three days to four hours.”

Allgood stresses that Joey, who started with the company in January 2013, is always focused on hitting his deadlines and maintaining a strict schedule.

He’s a great team member, too.

“Joey is always working with other departments to improve their processes,” says Allgood. “Either by providing labor or getting questions from vendors answered, Joey does all that is needed to work as one team.”

And he displays such excellence with a smile on his face.

“Joey shows excellence every day by maintaining a positive attitude toward achieving higher goals for his department.”

Congratulations to Joey Morales, Western Window Systems’ manager of the quarter.
