Lindsay Bennett

To hear it from those who nominated her for manager of the quarter, Western Window Systems is getting paid more quickly and more often than ever thanks to controller Lindsay Bennett.

“Her continuous improvement to accounts receivable reporting has led to increased collections of accounts receivable,” says the accounting team, which collectively nominated her. “And multiple improvements to the invoicing and collection process and have resulted in increased payments from customers and automation in our invoicing process.”

In addition, Lindsay, who started with the company in March 2017, led the development and implementation of a new balance sheet reconciliation process, which has resulted in increased accuracy of financial statements.

And she does it all with aplomb, say her coworkers.

“She is forever levelheaded and calm,” they say. “She is great at ensuring that everyone on her team is focused on the right things. And she takes the time to discuss/guide her team to ensure they grow.”

As far as the company’s core value of Partnership goes, Lindsay exemplifies the notion, always helping, always assisting other.

“She jumps in wherever necessary,” the accounting team says. “She tirelessly works to answer needs from all sides of the business. Whether it’s discussions with customers, physical inventory issues, or even if a truck a catches on fire, you name it – Lindsay’s there.”
