Erick Felsch

Toll Brothers’ Warm Springs multi-family development in Fremont, California was a big “get” for Western Window Systems. And no small amount of credit in the company’s landing the lucrative Volume Program deal goes to national contracts manager Erick Felsch.

“Erick’s attention to detail made the difference for us in the pursuit of this project,” says Chet Willis, vice president of production builder sales. “Warm Springs required a level of attention not typically seen in this kind of project, and Erick and his team nailed it.”

One major reason for the company’s success on the project came from a sill track insert that Erick designed, allowing Western Window Systems’ Series 600 Multi-Slide Door to become compliant with California’s Americans with Disabilities Act requirements.

“Erick’s dogged determination to not lose this project made it possible,” Willis says. “And we now have the design criteria in place to manufacture an STC 34 door that is ADA compliant with California building codes.”

Erick, who has been with Western Window Systems since April 2012, has drawn praise elsewhere from around the company for his attention to detail, willingness to collaborate, and strive for Western Window Systems’ core value of innovation.

“Creating our national accounts takes innovation, and he collaborates with builders to create an agreement/contract that works for both Western Window Systems and the builder,” says Pam Sutherland, Volume Program inside sales representative. “Erick is never short of ideas for his team to toss around.”

And inside sales representative Dan Elliott seconds that emotion: “If anyone needs help, Erick is always willing to lend a hand, whether it be for someone in the office, and outside rep, or a customer.”

Congratulations to Erick Felsch, Western Window Systems’ office employee of the month for July.
