Abbas Ali

Abbas Ali, manager of financial planning and analysis, uses his expertise to assist in creating in-depth reports — from working with the sales department to analyze competitors’ pricing to breaking down the cost of freight with the shipping department.

Recently, Abbas assisted the manufacturing team by developing a tool to help improve the process of finding glass. “He was able to use his awesome automation and Excel skills and make a hard, manual process easier,” chief financial officer Heather Zorge says. “He always wants to make things better and is willing to dive in and do whatever he can to help.”

Beyond his deep analysis, Abbas brings several other virtues to work every day. He’s a team player, a good communicator, and isn’t afraid to work outside his comfort zone. Since he started with the company in July 2017, Abbas has continually proven himself to be a move-and-adjust player of the highest caliber. In fact, he nabbed his first Office Employee of the Month in September 2018.

“Abbas exhibited our core values and the characteristics I think we all really aspire to by going out of his comfort zone and offering to help other departments,” Heather says. “He is a true ambassador of our culture, core values, and leadership principles.”

Congratulations, Abbas Ali, on being Western Window Systems’ office employee of the month for May!
