As Western Window Systems’ shipping coordinator, Adolfo “Adi” Nunez plays a key role
in keeping things running smoothly in the shipping department.
“We have an amazing group of people shipping products for our customers every day,” says chief financial officer Heather Zorge. “Adi’s an incredibly hard worker, but it’s more than that. I think employee of the month is more than just knowing that you’ll put in the hours and work hard. It’s that you’re representing our core values of excellence, innovation, and partnership every day, and he really does that.”
Nunez, who started at Western Window Systems in June 2015, is often “here first, out last,” Zorge says. “Adi stands out from the crowd, shows integrity, and strives for perfection. His new shipping coordinator role has definitely tested his skills and he’s had to move and adjust at every moment.”
His experience and knowledge help others navigate the waters of shipping logistics. Nunez’s training style emphasizes innovation and improvement, and he’s always striving to improve and come up with great ideas.
In addition to exemplifying Western Window Systems’ core values, Nunez also practices the company’s first leadership principle – “Always love people first.”
“He’s compassionated in his decision making and collaborative. He’s a natural leader,” Zorge says. “He’s incredibly caring and considerate of his team. He wants to consider everyone, and he wants to get it right all the time.”
