Steve Bradley
You could say Steve Bradley speaks fluent machine.
As a programmer, he writes the instructions for Western Window Systems’ CNC machines that produce parts in the shop. Bradley plots out each step of the process and then converts the specifications for the CNCs. The result: precision parts on the production line.
Bradley started his career at Western Window Systems in November 2016.
“He’s a great example of a team player,” manufacturing engineering manager Adnan Bevrnja says. “His peers look up to him. He pioneered new programming methods and helped other programmers build their skills. He’s definitely proven his worth on the programming side.”
Translating processes to machines to fabricate parts is a specialized language, and Bradley is an excellent translator. “He’s really good at transferring an idea into a great product or service that creates value for our products,” Bevrnja says.
In addition to being innovative, Bradley’s programming methods are meticulous. “He’s extremely good at what he does,” Bevrnja says. “For him, there is no such thing as cutting a corner or taking the easy way out. He strives for the best, takes extra time to make sure things are right, and sees that parts and assemblies get to customers on time.”
Congratulations, Steve Bradley, on being Western Window Systems’ office employee of the month for September!
