Ramon Jaurigue

It’s easy to overlook the fact that for many customers, the face of a company isn’t the CEO or the public relations representative. It’s the person who delivers the company’s products to them.

That’s why Western Window Systems is lucky to have a guy like Ramon Jaurigue working for it.

Ramon, whose primary job is as a driver for the shipping department, gets praise from management and customers alike.

“When he hits the road, he does what it takes to take care of the customer – and the company,” says shipping manager “Hollywood” Mike Flores. “Ramon will adjust his schedule to make sure he picks up or drops off, no matter what it takes.”

In regard to the company’s core value of innovation, Ramon, hired on in August 2015, gets high marks for working with a particular carrier to build trailers that are similar to Western Window Systems’ trailers.

Ramon was charged with supplying tons of information about the Western Window Systems trailers — like what works and what doesn’t — to the carrier. “He jumped right in and helped all the way to the end,” says Flores.

And then there’s this comment from a pleased customer: “Hey, I just wanted to take a minute and say that in a business with a lot of negativity, Ramon is a bright spot. The guy couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. He always calls ahead and he’s patient beyond belief. I hope Western Window Systems knows what a great job he’s doing for them, and us.”

Now everyone knows.

Congratulations to Ramon Jaurigue, Western Window Systems’ day shop employee of the month for January.
