Adolfo Nuñez

You can train an employee to do almost anything a job requires of them, but you can’t always train someone to understand the intangibles. So, it’s a manager’s dream when an employee simply has “the knack.”

Fortunately for Karl Price and his windows team, that describes Adolfo Nuñez.

“This guy has a true knack for what good quality is,” says Price. “And Adolfo never passes on anything less than perfect product.”

A Western Window Systems employee since June 2015, Adolfo seemingly does it all, and he does it with a smile on his face.

“Even if we are asking too much of the department,” Price says, “Adolfo finds a way to complete his schedule on time. He will even jump through hoops to get his work and then gets right in there to help other departments get their schedule done.”

Not even the proverbial curveball tossed his way will take Adolfo off his stride.

“When a customer makes a ridiculous request that requires modified parts, Adolfo always finds a way to make it happen and doesn’t complain about it.”

And speaking of the kind of intangibles that make an employee so valuable, the windows team veteran is always looking to improve his game and is simply a pleasure to work with.

Says Price: “This guy is continuously striving to grow his talents. And he always maintains a respectful manner when talking with other employees.”

Just one more reason the windows crew is lucky to have him.

Congratulations to Adolfo Nuñez, Western Window Systems’ day shop employee of the month for July.
