Ashleen Declet

One of the quotes on the wall in the Western Window Systems shop is from Vince Lombardi:

“Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence.”

Ashleen Declet is a perfection chaser. As a member of the window line’s quality control team, she puts the “quality” in “quality control.” Declet pushes her coworkers to be their very best, which is what makes her so good at her job, says Melchor Ordaz, quality assurance/quality control manager.

“Many people in the shop could say this is the person who pushed them to be the best they could be,” he says. Declet started working at Western Window Systems in February 2019 and has built a reputation on the window line as someone with high quality standards. “She will not accept mediocrity,” Ordaz says.

While chasing perfection, excellence is what Declet expects. “We have continuously been striving to get better and better,” Ordaz says. “We have created a team that’s going to help us love what we do, and Ashleen is a shining example of what an employee of the month is.”

Congratulations, Ashleen Declet, on being Western Window Systems’ shop employee of the month on day shift for September!
