Ryan Holzer

Where there’s a will, there’s a way, as the old saying goes. It applies to a certain night shift team member who after initially missing his goals, became determined to meet, and then exceed, those goals.

When trailer loader Ryan Holzer started out in crating, he was cutting material and coming up short. A little bit of extra training was all Ryan needed to master the job.

“He made it clear it was his goal to get everything accomplished,” says Mike Flores, shipping manager. “That first night we left him after giving him some extra instruction, Ryan accomplished everything in the exact time expected for the job. Not only did he do it that night, but he continued meeting those goals night after night.”

As the shipping department made changes in the way it transported products from other departments, Ryan, who started with the company in February 2017, was called into duty.

“With his sense of urgency and his pride in getting the job done, Ryan has been able to pull product and still help the trailers when needed,” Flores says.

And Ryan exemplifies Western Window Systems’ core value of partnership, too.

“We have placed Ryan everywhere in shipping, and he goes very willingly with a smile on his face and a great attitude,” Flores says. “We know he will get the work done and it will be done right.”

Congratulations to Ryan Holzer, Western Window Systems’ night shift shop employee of the month for March.
